The Tree

Here is a story…

One day a tree fell in the woods. A little boy heard it. He ran to tell his friends. He told them it was a big tree. He told them how beautifully it fell. His friends ran home to tell their parents. Soon everyone was talking about it. The people of the village came to see the tree. They sang songs and planted more trees. Every year they celebrated the day the tree fell.

Many trees fall in the woods, but this was the tree they remembered.
