Dr. Martens, the British footwear and clothing brand, has appointed Fugu as its PR agency to raise awareness of stores across the south of England and spread its Stand For Something message.
Fugu managed the Dr. Martens Brighton store launch in May 2013, which achieved local media saturation and much national interest. The team won the account following a pitch earlier this year and will be targeting regional media to engage Dr. Martens fans and drive awareness of stores, including Cardiff, Brighton, London, Portsmouth, Bristol, Norwich and Milton Keynes. The campaign will involve promoting a series of in-store and local events, an effective media relations programme, content creation, social media support and more.
