Establishing and promoting narratives to expand event audience

TEDxBrighton is an independently organised TED event devoted to showcasing influential speakers with connections to Brighton who have, in line with TED’s stated mission, Ideas Worth Spreading.

Working with TEDxBrighton since its inaugural event in 2011, we have been responsible for building awareness of the event and extending engagement beyond the ticketed conference.

We have also provided strategic direction by helping to shape event themes that resonate within the wider community and create a core narrative underlining the media campaign.

Interest has grown year on year and the event is now firmly established in the Brighton calendar, having grown from 100 to 1,000 delegates in four years. We have secured media features and reviews nationally and locally, with over 12 million people reached in 2014 alone.
